Choices Recovery Services “Choices” provides a comprehensive, multi-phase, step-down/step-up mental health and substance abuse treatment/rehabilitation program utilizing multiple treatment modalities, multi-disciplinary treatment teams, evidence-based practices, and success-based positive reinforcement with clear consequences for counter-recovery behavior. Choices' focuses on providing alcohol and drug treatment and mental health rehabilitation services for the “Special Needs” recovery population in a residential or outpatient therapeutic community. Choices operates ten properties serving a total of 156 residential program participants. Eight of these properties are in a centralized campus in the Rose Park/Hellman neighborhoods in Long Beach, California.
