I have to say that this is an awesome and unique treatment facility. I have been to other VERY big named treatment centers and this center far exceeds the treatment at those more expensive places. These people really care about you! All of the staff were kind and compassionate. Of course there were rules, but I needed them, I didn't know how to do it on my own. The professionals at this facility really have a passion for working with addicts like me. I am grateful for the structure, because I was going to die if I couldn't stop using. I loved all of the nursing staff and the couseling staff too. This is the place that saved my life. Those other treatment centers can't compare to this well kept secret. I highly recommend Sage Retreat. Thank you.
I was recently a patient at Hemet Valley Recovery Center in Hemet, Ca. Overall this place has an awesome detox program and GREAT counselors. My only bad experience was with a few of the nurses. They acted kike they have been here for 100 years and they hate their jobs. When you ask them a question some nurses take it like a bother, they will tell you "wait a minute" and an hour passes until you get what you need. Like I said it was a great detox center and I know in my heart that I NEVER want to use again. But I do think that HR needs to weed through some of the "bad" nurses. It does take a special person to work with poeple who are detoxing off of chemicals that they have been on for awhile. First and foremost you must have empathy, true empathy to work with and understand what the patient is gooing through.
