Vista Bay is a long term drug and alcohol treatment program that is holistic and therapeutic. The program is not 12-step based, nor does it agree with the "disease" model. No one at Vista Bay will be given drugs in order to come off other drugs, but will see what they are like completely drug-free before any type of assessment or evaluation is done. The purpose is to return the individual to a state of being completely substance free, or as close to that as is medically possible. Rather than meetings, the program is based on the idea of cleansing the client's body of toxins through using a sauna detoxification process. This is designed to flush drug residues out of the body which often lead to relapse in individuals, even long after a period of sobriety. After the sauna detoxification, the client is introduced through a series of workbooks in a friendly and positive classroom setting. The books are based on cognitive therapy and are designed to help the client address those things in their life that went wrong. Everyone is different and thus the program is uniquely individualized. The Vista Bay program is not based on time, it is based on results. The client is finished when he or she has completed the necessary parts of the program. For some, this may take 3 months, for other it is 4-6 months. The cost is all-inclusive and the same regardless of length of stay. Additionally, we are the only alcohol and drug rehab program in the industry that offers a relapse policy. We are so confident in the results of our program, that if anyone who graduates our program who is following their approved discharge plan relapses within 6 months, we will bring them back for up to 30 days at no charge!
