eCenter Research supplies the DUSI-R Drug Use Screening Inventory Revised to treatment centres across the globe. The DUSI-R is utilized in screening for and treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health disorders. Youth and adult versions are available in past year, past month, and past week time frames. The DUSI-R past year version provides a comprehensive intake screening of client adjustment and problem severity in Substance Abuse (consumption topology, consequences), Psychiatric Disorder, Health Status, Behavior Patterns, Family System, School Performance, Work Adjustment, Peer Relationship, Social Competence, Leisure and Recreation. Predictive scales include prediction of mental health disorder including Depression, Anxiety, ADHD/hyperactivity, Conduct problems, Substance Use, other Adverse Outcomes, and Violence proneness. The DUSI-R is used for intake and treatment planning (past year version), monitoring treatment course (past month/past week versions), aftercare check-up (past year/past month versions).
The DUSI-R is a self report inventory completed by the client and available in 13 languages. No special training is required for administration and scoring/PDF report generation are automated in the online version. Online Advanced Reporting is also available for monitoring client and treatment group progress over time. The DUSI was developed by Dr. Ralph Tarter in 1990 and there are over 30 empirical studies and peer reviewed publications using the DUSI.
