We recognize that although alcoholics and addicts are primarily the same, regarding the disease of addiction, each has their own history with events that do differ from each other; Beachway Therapy Center recognizes this individuality. It is important to identify these individual events and address them in the individual treatment plans. Weekly evaluations of each guest are given by their personal therapist with inputs from the treatment team. A medical doctor is always available during the treatment stay. The individual creative assessment and treatment plan is individualized with goals and objectives appropriate to the guests needs. Life skills are a key component to recovery. Each guest will be educated and coached on “succeeding in life.” All guest's at Beachway Therapy Center are assisted in outlining and executing a plan of action to gain employment or to seek a higher educational goal. An achievable plan is deducted for each guest with a simplistic path laid out. Beachway Therapy Center recognizes that addiction and alcoholism effects the entire family. To help with our guest recovery we have put in place an extensive family support and educational program. Family member are encouraged to participate in counseling.
