Odyssey House of Utah's Adult Residential Program has been around since 1971! The Adult Program is long-term and extremely difficult, but so is addiction. Odyssey House programs focus on the whole person - requiring clients to evaluate their belief systems, develop healthy coping skills, demonstrate accountability, practice self-control, and follow-through on recovery tasks. What results is a self-sufficient individual with a vision for their future, the tools and skills to make it happen, and multiple circles of support to help them on their way. To acheive this end, the Adult Program offers individual therapy, group therapy, in-house vocational training, private industry-based vocational training, life skills training, and transitional housing - all within a Therapeutic Community.
